Excellent non-wettability with aluminum casting molten metal! It won't crack even when dropped into water from 1000°C.
"Aluminum Titanate (Al2TiO5, Al2O3 + TiO2) CIP molded products" have a thermal expansion rate close to zero and excellent thermal shock resistance. They do not crack even when submerged in water at 1000°C.
